Participates in weekly staff meetings and scheduled committee meetings.
Facilitates the organization of volunteer help as needed.
Edit, schedule and send out weekly communications.
Record all membership changes: deaths, marriages, address changes, transfer of memberships, baptisms and new members.
Serve as the face of the church.
Be the first point of contact for all who are seeking emergency financial assistance through the Pastoral Benevolence fund. Disseminate information and instructions, including names and numbers of social service agencies.
Develops and administers policies and procedures concerning the use of all church properties, and facilities.
Works with staff and organizations in coordinating the assignment of classrooms and church facilities for meetings and activities.
Evaluates periodically the insurance needs of the church.
Oversees the security of the church.
Maintains an inventory of church property and equipment.
Oversees the church Finances in the receipt, deposit and disbursement of all church funds.
Oversees the purchasing process and maintaining vendor relationships.
Oversees the preparation of financial reports to ministries.
Oversees the administering of the payroll for church employees.
Works with the church accountant to assure all tax reports are promptly paid and timely filed.
Open, review and route bills to the correct person or group and secure money and in coming checks.
Gives general direction to the weekday operation of the church office to help ensure church websites and programs are updated, calendars are updated, bulletins are published and newsletters are published and distributed.
Responsible for the daily management of the church office, including all of human resources for all non-ministerial staff.
Sees to the maintenance of all office equipment and computer systems.
Assists the Personnel Team in the development and administration of the personnel policies and procedures of the church.
Maintains personnel records.
Assures the church’s compliance with federal and state labor laws.
Coordinates the vacation schedule; maintains all vacation/leave hour totals.
