Job Type

Preparing construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials. Reading and following blueprints, plans, and instructions from supervisors. Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and equipment. Assisting with tasks such as digging trenches, pouring concrete, framing walls, roofing, or installing fixtures. Measuring, cutting, and assembling building materials according to project specifications. Following all workplace safety regulations by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and identifying potential hazards. Inspecting tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Keeping the work area clean and organized to reduce accidents and improve efficiency. Working as part of a team with supervisors, skilled tradespeople, and other construction workers to complete projects on time.

Responsibilities

Physically fit and able to perform manual labor. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely. Willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions. Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety procedures. Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision. Good time management and punctuality. Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when required. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Previous construction experience is an advantage but may not be required for entry-level positions. Skills Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic measurement and mathematical skills. Problem-solving and practical thinking. Attention to detail and accuracy. Physical stamina and endurance. Requirements & Skills

Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions in English or a local language. Physically fit and medically capable of performing manual labor. Basic knowledge of construction tools and workplace safety is an advantage. Relevant vocational or technical training in construction is an added advantage. Willingness to learn and follow safety regulations and company procedures. A valid identification document (such as a Ghana Card) may be required by employers. No Qualifications Needed
