CafeProtect people, property, and company assets from theft, damage, or unauthorized access. Control access to the premises by checking visitors, staff, and vehicles. Patrol assigned areas regularly to identify and report security risks. Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security equipment. Prevent unauthorized entry and enforce company security policies. Respond quickly to emergencies such as fire, theft, accidents, or disturbances. Report suspicious activities, incidents, and security breaches to supervisors. Keep accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs. Assist employees, customers, and visitors with directions and general safety. Conduct security checks on buildings, gates, doors, and windows. Work with emergency services such as the police, fire service, or ambulance when needed. Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service while ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

Minimum qualification: JHS, SHS/WASSCE, or equivalent (depending on the employer). Previous security experience is an advantage but may not be required for entry-level roles. Must be 18 years or older. Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for long periods. Good character with no serious criminal record. Able to read, write, and communicate in English (knowledge of local languages is an advantage). Willing to work day, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts.

Requirements & Skills

Minimum education: JHS/BECE certificate or equivalent (SHS/WASSCE is an advantage). Minimum age: 18 years and above. Basic ability to read and write English. Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and work for long hours. Good conduct and clean background (no serious criminal record). Ability to follow instructions and security procedures. Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
