We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to teach Singapore Mathematics to students in Grades 8 to 12. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, explaining mathematical concepts clearly, preparing students for examinations, setting and marking assignments, monitoring students’ academic progress, and providing additional support to help students achieve excellent results.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of Mathematics and the ability to teach Singapore Mathematics effectively at the Grade 8 to Grade 12 levels. Applicants should possess excellent communication, classroom management, problem-solving, and lesson-planning skills. The candidate must be patient, organised, enthusiastic, and able to motivate students to develop strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. A minimum of one year of teaching experience is required.
Requirements & Skills
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education or an equivalent qualification in a related field. A Master’s degree in Mathematics Education or a related discipline will be an added advantage. Candidates with experience teaching Singapore Mathematics and preparing students for advanced secondary-level Mathematics examinations are strongly encouraged to apply.
