* Hair Cutting: Performing various haircuts using clippers, scissors, and razors, including fades, crew cuts, buzz cuts, and more. * Facial Hair Grooming: Trimming and shaping beards and mustaches, providing clean shaves. * Client Consultation: Discussing desired hairstyles with clients, offering suggestions based on face shape and hair texture. * Shampooing and Scalp Massage: Washing clients' hair and providing scalp massages. * Styling Products Application: Applying styling products to achieve the desired look. * Sanitation and Hygiene: Disinfecting tools and maintaining a clean workstation to ensure hygiene standards. * Trend Awareness: Staying updated on current hair trends and barbering techniques. * Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, building rapport with clients.

Requirements & Skills

* High school diploma, completion of an accredited barber training program, and passing a state-administered licensing exam to obtain a barber license; this often includes demonstrating practical barbering skills alongside written knowledge. * Education: Graduation from a recognized barber school or apprenticeship program or a high school diploma. *Hygiene and Sanitation: Understanding and adhering to proper sanitation practices in the barbershop.
