The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring and controlling access to the school premises, checking visitors and vehicles, conducting regular patrols, securing school buildings and equipment, and reporting any suspicious activity or security concerns to management. The officer will also assist with opening and closing school facilities, responding appropriately to emergencies, maintaining security records, and ensuring that school rules and safety procedures are followed. When necessary, the officer will use his practical trade skills to assist with minor repairs, maintenance, and other hands-on tasks around the school.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have good observation and communication skills, be physically fit, disciplined, trustworthy, punctual, and able to work independently. Previous security experience is an advantage. Practical hands-on skills in masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, painting, or another relevant trade are highly preferred. The candidate should also be able to carry out basic repairs safely, follow instructions, respond calmly to emergencies, and work respectfully with students, teachers, parents, and management.
