The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate English lessons in phonics, reading, writing, grammar and oral communication for Grade K and lower primary learners, creating a safe, positive and creative classroom environment that encourages active participation, assessing and tracking student progress through continuous assessment and reporting to parents, providing differentiated support to meet individual learning needs, developing lesson plans and instructional materials in line with the school's curriculum, collaborating with colleagues and actively participating in school meetings, training and extracurricular activities, while upholding the values and professional standards of LBY Creative Academy in Tema Community 11.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Basic Education (English major), or a related field with at least 1 year of proven experience teaching English at the kindergarten and lower primary level, must have excellent command of spoken and written English, strong knowledge of phonics and early literacy instructional strategies, and the ability to create engaging and creative lesson plans; we require a patient, passionate, nurturing and energetic teacher with excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills, basic ICT skills for teaching and reporting, and a genuine love for working with young children, with residence in or around Tema Community 11 being an added advantage.
