• Plan and deliver effective lessons based on the school curriculum • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment • Teach, guide, and support pupils academically and morally • Assess and evaluate pupils’ work, keeping accurate records of progress • Prepare lesson notes, teaching materials, and assignments • Maintain class discipline and good behavior at all times • Identify pupils’ strengths and weaknesses and provide individual support where needed • Communicate regularly with parents and school authorities about pupil progress • Participate in school activities, meetings, and events • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom • Serve as a role model in attitude, dressing, and communication • Follow all school rules, policies, and ethical standards

Responsibilities

Requirements • Minimum of Senior High School Certificate (Diploma or Degree in Education is an advantage) • Teaching experience is preferred (especially with young children, if applicable) • Good knowledge of the school curriculum • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently • Must be disciplined, punctual, and responsible • Passion for teaching and working with children • Must be of good character and integrity • Basic knowledge of ICT is an added advantage ⸻ Skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Good classroom management ability • Patience and understanding when dealing with pupils • Ability to plan and organize lessons effectively • Creativity in teaching methods and activities • Ability to work as part of a team • Problem-solving and adaptability • Good time management skills

Requirements & Skills

• senior high school (shs) certificate at minimum • a diploma in basic education or any education-related course is an added advantage • must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in english • basic knowledge of teaching methods and classroom management • prior teaching experience is preferred but not compulsory • must have good moral character and a passion for working with children
