1. *Measure, Cut & Sew Garments* Take client measurements, cut fabric to pattern, and sew/stitch clothes to fit. Includes alterations, repairs, and custom designs from suits to dresses. 2. *Client Consultation & Finishing* Advise clients on fabrics, styles, and fittings. Do final alterations, hemming, buttoning, and ensure every piece is neat, well-fitted, and ready for delivery.

Responsibilities

1. *Training & Experience* - NVTI, fashion school certificate, or 2+ years apprenticeship under a master tailor. Portfolio of work is a major plus. 2. *Technical Knowledge* - Ability to read patterns, operate industrial/domestic sewing machines, overlockers, and handle different fabrics like cotton, lace, suiting. *2 Key Skills* 1. *Precision & Attention to Detail* - Accurate measurements, clean stitches, straight hems. One wrong cut wastes fabric and money. 2. *Creativity & Client Service* - Can suggest styles, take client ideas, and deliver custom fits that make people look good and come back.
