Core responsibilities of a *Warehouse Worker* — standard for factories, shops, and distribution centers in Ghana: *1. Receiving & Offloading* - Offload goods from trucks / containers - Check quantity, type, and condition against waybill / invoice - Report damages, shortages, or wrong items immediately - Label and sort incoming stock properly *2. Storage & Arrangement* - Arrange goods neatly on shelves / pallets by type, size, expiry date - Use FIFO / FEFO — First In First Out, First Expired First Out - Keep warehouse clean, dry, and free from pests - Ensure heavy goods are placed safely to avoid falling *3. Picking, Packing & Dispatch* - Pick items accurately according to sales order / requisition - Pack and seal goods properly for delivery - Load goods onto delivery vans / trucks - Help dispatch team check waybill before goods leave *4. Stock Control & Counting* - Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly stock counting - Update stock cards and report low stock levels - Keep records

Responsibilities

Standard requirements for a *Warehouse Worker* in Ghana: *1. Education* - Minimum JHS / SHS — able to read, write, and count well - Basic English to understand waybills and instructions - Certificate in Warehousing / Logistics is a plus *2. Experience* - 6 months - 1 year as warehouse worker, storekeeper assistant, loader, or shop assistant preferred - Freshers accepted if strong, honest, and trainable - Experience with stock counting and packing is an advantage *3. Technical Skills* - Able to read waybill / invoice and check goods accurately - Proper arrangement of goods — FIFO / FEFO - Basic stock counting and recording — manual book and phone / Excel if possible - Safe lifting, packing, and loading techniques - Use of trolley, hand jack, weighing scale - Basic knowledge of warehouse safety *4.
