Patrolling and Monitoring Premises: Conducting regular foot or vehicle patrols to inspect buildings, equipment, and access points (doors, windows, gates) for safety hazards or security breaches. Controlling Access Points: Managing entry and exit points to ensure only authorised personnel enter, which includes checking identification, managing visitor logs, and preventing unauthorised access. Responding to Emergencies: Acting as first responders during incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, or security breaches, including conducting evacuations and contacting police or fire services. Surveillance and Deterrence: alarms, and maintaining a visible presence to deter criminal activity or unruly behaviour. Reporting and Documentation: Writing detailed incident reports, daily logs, and maintenance reports regarding activities during their shift, which may be used for insurance or legal purposes.
