• Assist chef with basic food preparation. • Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as directed. • Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. • Wash dishes and ensure proper storage of kitchen items. • Receive, check, and store food deliveries appropriately. • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas. • Dispose of waste according to procedures. • Assist with stocktaking and inventory management. • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations. • Perform any other duties assigned by the Chef

Requirements & Skills

Qualifications • minimum of junior high school (jhs) or senior high school (shs) education. • basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety is an advantage. • ability to read and follow instructions. • food handling certification is an added advantage. Experience • previous experience in a restaurant, catering service, or commercial kitchen is preferred. • entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn may also be considered.
