Got it — just 2 main responsibilities: *1. Loading:* Safely arrange and secure cargo on the ship to keep it balanced and prevent damage at sea. *2. Offloading:* Carefully discharge cargo from the ship to the dock, count it, and check for damage.

Responsibilities

1. *Physically fit and strong* - able to lift, stand long hours, work in all weather 2. *Safety awareness* - must know how to use PPE and follow port safety rules 3. *Teamwork & communication* - must work with crane operators, signalmen, crew 4. *Basic education* - ability to read manifest, count cargo, write reports 5. *Equipment skills* - ability to operate or assist with forklift, crane, pallet jack 6. *No fear of heights / sea* - comfortable working on ships and docks

Requirements & Skills

- *Education:* BECE / WASSCE certificate - must be able to read and write - *Age:* 18 years and above - *Physical:* Medically fit - good eyesight, strength, no chronic illness - *No criminal record* - *Basic safety training:* PPE use, fire safety, manual handling - *Ghana Card / ID* No degree needed. Most companies train you on the job.
