1. Prepare and cook local and continental meals according to approved recipes and quality standards. 2. Prepare and produce pizza, shawarma, loaded fries, fried foods and other menu items. 3. Ensure consistency in taste, texture, portion size and presentation. 4. Accurately measure ingredients and follow recipes. 5. Monitor ingredients and minimize food wastage. 6. Assist with stock and ingredient management. 7. Ensure food is prepared and served within the required time. 8. Operate and properly maintain kitchen equipment. 9. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety. 10. Assist in developing new meals and menu items. 11. Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and on time. 12. Maintain a clean, organized and professional kitchen environment. 13. Work effectively with other members of the Kitchen & Production Team.

Responsibilities

1. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Chef, Cook or in a similar position is preferred. 2. Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. 3. Good knowledge of both local and continental meals. 4. Practical experience preparing pizza, shawarma, loaded fries and other fast-food/menu items. 5. Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality. 6. Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling. 7. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. 8. Good attention to detail and presentation. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10. Experience in an eatery, restaurant, hotel, catering company or food production business is an advantage.

Requirements & Skills

1. Certificate, Diploma or professional training in Culinary Arts, Cookery, Catering, Hospitality or a related field is an advantage. 2. Relevant practical cooking experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications. 3. Food Safety and Hygiene training/certification is an advantage.
