Work Setup

• Customer Assistance: Welcome walk-in customers, understand their lighting needs, and explain the differences between various bulbs, LED fixtures, and decorative lights. • Product Demonstration: Test bulbs and light fixtures for customers before packing them to ensure they work perfectly. • Sales & Cashiering: Receive cash and Mobile Money (MoMo) payments accurately and record daily sales. • Shop Upkeep & Display: Keep the shop clean and ensure the light displays are neatly arranged and dusted daily. • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels and report when fast-moving lighting products are running low.

Responsibilities

• Education: Minimum of SHS (Senior High School) / WASSCE graduate. • Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or working in a shop is a plus (but not strictly required). • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in English and local languages (like Twi or Ga). • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn about different types of lights, wattages, LEDs, and basic electrical fittings quickly. • Math Skills: Strong basic arithmetic skills for counting stock and calculating totals accurately. • Tech Literacy: Ability to operate a smartphone or basic calculator to receive and verify Mobile Money (MoMo) payments. • Personal Traits: Must be highly honest, trustworthy, reliable, and punctual. • Proximity: Applicants living near the shop location are strongly preferred to avoid lateness.

Can read and Write and use a smartphone, Lives around Kaneshie, Abeka or North Kaneshie areas • Age Preference: 18 – 25 years. Ideal for proactive young school leavers looking to build a career in sales.
