Job description: Telesales Executive

As a Telesales executive you are responsible for selling value added services and products to customers (ad posters) by identifying the opportunity and selling to them; maintaining relationships with clients. The role involves listening to clients and understanding their needs before proposing suitable value added service options.
To support the organization’s drive to increase revenue by generating high quality leads and working as a team in the planning, organization and closing of sales. To take independent responsibility for allocated sales task in a way that the sales goals and targets are achieved.
Job purpose and key duties:
Prospecting: Able get new prospects to keep a consistently full pipeline to meet sales targets and goals
Questioning: Able to ask questions to engage prospects in the sales conversation.
Persistence: Able to find creative ways to keep name in your prospect’s mind to achieve long-term success in sales.
Organization: Able to plan and outline daily, weekly and monthly schedule in order of priority for efficiency.
Rapport-building: Able to speak prospect’s language and understand the business problem they face.
Clients: Able to communicate with clients in the spirit of the relationship established.
Communication: Able to talk to people and getting them to understand what you are trying to communicate.
Co-operation: Shows clear ability to openly exchange information and work together with team members and other colleagues.
Stress Management: Copes with pressure, remains calm under adverse circumstances. Able to prioritize tasks and activities accordingly.
Liaise effectively with all departments within Tonaton to ensure customer requirements are met.
DAILY SALES DUTIES
Generate High Quality Leads - Telesales executives must generate a pipeline of potential prospects on a daily basis. At least 60 new sales prospects must be contacted daily. This can be done by making cold calls etc.
Maintain Customer Relations - Sales person must maintain customer relationships in a positive and quality manner (Courteous, friendly, approachable).
Updating Telesales Database - Sales must be updated daily by Telesales Executives. These database include:

Daily and Weekly Sales for Telesales.
Tonaton Telesales Sheet.
Tonaton.com - Telesales Premium ad sales
Payment and Collections - Telesales Executives must follow guidelines regarding receiving payments from customers, making payment to Accounts for monthly reconciliation and sending of codes to customers.
Submission of Daily and Weekly Sales Report - Telesales Executives must submit a daily sales report latest by 4:30pm every day.

Experience in customer service
Must be internet savvy
Good computer skills
Excellent selling skills with the ability and desire to sell

Excellent time management and organizational skills
Can work independently and as part of a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets is an advantage
